About ArtMax
ArtMax helps collectors and art advisors organize artwork, track acquisitions, and manage collections in one place.
Each artwork has its own record, where you can keep its details, photographs, documents, correspondence, and notes together. Follow a work from the moment you find it, through negotiation, purchase, and delivery, until it becomes part of your collection.
When you want to learn more about a work, ArtMax can use the information you’ve collected to research the artist, provenance, condition, and market.
I originally built ArtMax for my own art advisory practice, to organize artwork, manage acquisitions, and collaborate with my private clients. I decided to make it available for anyone to use for free, whether you’re building your first collection or managing an established one.
Private art advisory
ArtMax Art Advisor LLC provides private art advisory services for collectors seeking assistance with acquisitions, research, and collection management. I work directly with each client to:
- identify and evaluate artworks
- navigate galleries and auctions
- coordinate purchases
- organize and manage their collections
Advisory clients and I use ArtMax together to share research and keep their collecting activity organized.

About me
I spent eleven years in the New York art world, from 2003 to 2014, in framing, installation, and art handling for galleries, auction houses, antique frame makers, and art fairs. I then became a registered nurse, and today I work in healthcare regulatory survey work, which is mostly careful review of records and evidence.
ArtMax began when I was helping a friend research pieces he was thinking of buying. I wanted that kind of research to be quicker, and to keep its sources in view.
